Upgrade your vehicle’s electronics with the JVC KD-X260BT Bluetooth in-dash digital media receiver. The head unit will take your car audio experience to the next level with a full range of outstanding features, state of the art technology, and accessories that include dual USB ports and a 24-bit digital audio converter. The unit offers built-in Bluetooth technology with Bluetooth version 2.0 and a range of up to 32.8 feet. This allows you to enjoy hands free calling through the speakers, voice recognition dialing, audio streaming, text message notification, and phone book transfer. The unit supports A2DP audio streaming that is designed to work with most Bluetooth enabled cellphones. In addition, there is a wired microphone that minimizes distortion. The JVC KD-X260BT is equipped with auto drive router app control, a JVC original application. The in-dash unit has an HS-IVi tuner with 18 FM and 12 AM presets for clear, quality sound from local radio stations. Other features of the receiver include 3 band parametric iEG, easy EQ, source link EQ, backup memory and radio timer, high pass filter and low pass filter, dynamic soundstage organizer, Electronic Shock Protection (ESP), 3-band parametric equalizer with 7 selectable tone curves, beep tone support, subwoofer control with 2 pre-output terminals, 2.5V line and subwoofer pre-out. The system is steering wheel remote control ready, so you won’t need to fumble with the head unit or car stereo to listen to music. The unit is equipped with a separated variable color display with separated brightness control and auto dimmer. You can select different colors for the display and control. The unit displays CD text information and MP3 ID3 tag display with information about the artist, title, and album of the song being played. The JVC KD-X260BT unit features drive change mode that allows you to play music through the stereo from either your phone memory or inserted SD card. You have access to your favorite Pandora stations with Pandora Internet Radio Control via the USB connection for your iPhone or iPod and through the Bluetooth SPP connection for your android or Blackberry phone. The receiver is compatible with smart digital remote control for Android devices and 2-way control for the iPhone and iPad, using either the device or receiver controls. In addition, the receiver is MP3/WMA compatible with ID3/WMA tag via the USB. You will enjoy full time connection of two cell phones with the JVC KD-X260BT receiver. The system offers front and rear USB ports with a 1 amp power supply for charging phones. Additionally, you can connect your phone or device through the front Aux input. A separate installation kit for the JVC KD-X260BT is needed for installation of the head unit. The installation, connection to speakers and Bluetooth are fairly easy to handle with the easy to follow instructions in the manual. Once the system is installed, the firmware and software can be updated in a matter of minutes to help you get the most from your new system.
