Electronically, it does exactly what it's supposed to: allows you to control the power on each of thirty-one frequency bands, on each of two channels. Ultra quiet in operation, suitable for use in both studio and live settings. The bands are approximately 1/3-octave (from 20Hz - 20 KHz) and overlap slightly. Both XLR and TRS inputs and outputs are available on both channels, and a ground-lift switch allows you to address ground-loop issues, if necessary. Dual range EQ (+/- 6dB, +/- 12dB) is selectable from the front panel, which also features adjustable high- and low-pass, overall level, and bypass controls for each channel; the two channels may be operated completely independently of each other.
